Gold Rush DownHill - WITH LESS THAN NORMAL SNOW PACK, THIS EVENT WILL BE POSTPONED TIL A FUTURE DAY. The Gold Rush Downhill is an older event we have reintroduced. The turn out was successful so we decided to host another one this year. This is a fun slalom race down Troll's face. This is a team event consisting of 3 people. To make up you team you need to have at least one skier one female and one snowboarder. Any combination. Each team member gets two runs down the course, all times get combined together to create one team time. This years theme is come as (Your Favorite Super Hero). We want to see those capes flying down the hill. Our categories include fastest team, oldest team, youngest team and best dressed team. Registration will be held the day of the race at Troll from 9am -10am, race starts at 11am ending approx 2pm. Entry fee is $30 per team. Helmets are manditory. At the end of the race day we invite you and your team to sit and relax at our nice warm fire pit to enjoy a hot dog and marshmallow roast. What a great way to end the day. Hope to see you there.

Ruins Hand Plant/Rail Jam - The hand plant/Rail Jam is a fun event for the competitors and also the spectators. With turn out of 32 entries last year and all the laughs we had how could we not host it again. Jam say it all. There will be certain features at the bottom of the mountain for the competitors to jam on for a period of time in the afternoon. There is no limit to how many times you can try on the features. There will be 3 categories, male skiers, male snowboarders and females. Whoever can through down the best trick in each category will take home the bacon. This event is particularly interesting because there are no age categories. Everyne gets to compete together. The Hand Plant Jam is a very entertaining way to end the day. A hand plant is a move that consists of going up a quarter pipe planting you hand on the top and suspending yourself in the air for a moment. This is worth bringing a camera for.
You can register at Troll resort the day of event from
9am -10am, you can preregister at Ruins(P.G) or Rocky Peak Adventures. Event starts at 1pm. Entry fee is $15 per person. Lots of prizes. Helmets are manditory. If you think you have what it takes to take it all home, come out and show us what you got.

The Dummy Downhill - Start constructing your dummy today! What a good way to spend the last day at Troll, build a dummy, launch it off a big jump and watch it crash. Sure sounds fun to me.Dummy's must be hand constructed, they can't exceed 300lb's, no explosives are allowed and the max track width is 32" outside ski edge to outside ski edge, 20" inside to inside, with min 4" clearance. Lets see what your minds can create. Happy building
